Board President
It was not until the last few months when Hava shared that the “harvest is plenty and the workers are few” Teel began to realize this was not just an international issue. This is an issue everywhere, including our small rural communities. While participating in the She Dreams Again Trauma Training (something she would recommend for every mom) she realized that every young person is susceptible to falling victim. BUT with God and his use of the She Dreams Again organization there is so much we can do as a community to not only restore hope and healing to recently recovering victims as well as raise awareness to vulnerabilities therefore preventing it from ever happening in our community or within our own family.
Teel has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from YSU and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from The Ohio State University. She currently works as a Senior HR Leader for a large corporation in the Central Ohio area. In addition, to fighting human trafficking Teel is passionate about spending time her family, her extended church family and running (a.k.a walk with a hop). She has recently participated in a couple Ultra-thons in picturesque landscapes such as Mt. Zion, Utah or Antelope Canyon, Arizona.
